How long does processing take?

36 hours. Processing times may vary.

online using your application reference number and passport
details.
What if my ESTA is denied?
If your ESTA is denied, you must apply
for a U.S. visa at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate.
Can I update my ESTA after approval?
Certain information such as email
address or U.S. address can be updated. Passport details cannot be
changed.
Travel & Entry
Does ESTA guarantee entry?
No. Final admission is determined by
U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the port of entry.
How long can I stay in the U.S.?
You may stay up to 90 days per visit.
Extensions are not permitted under ESTA.
Can I work in the U.S. with ESTA?
