What Affects CBP Processing Time

Nationality

Some nationalities are subject to additional background checks.

Travel History

Previous visa denials or immigration issues may trigger extended review.

Volume

During peak travel seasons, CBP may take longer due to high application volume.

Data Accuracy

Incorrect or inconsistent data may cause delays or denial.

About "Rush" Processing

All ESTA applications go through the same CBP processing queue. No third-party service is able to move an application ahead of others in that queue.

For that reason, we do not offer or charge for "rush" processing.
